Visiting the Netherworld ～ Netherworld Arc
After the Gensokyo chronicle event, Lady Yukari decided that we could have some free time, including me. Having known that, after having breakfast with the others, I informed Lady Yukari that I was going to the netherworld, in particular, Hakugyokurou.
[Yukari] “Be careful” “On another note, you could ask Youmu about how to be a swordsman, hehe”
[Izuru] “Understood” “See you later, my lady”
It feels strange to travel to other worlds, but since this residence is a world in itself, I wouldn't see why not. There must be a lot of ghosts or something over there.

Now I'm halfway there, more or less close to Youkai Mountain I would have asked Lady Yukari where that place is located but I forgot.

Looks like I found the gate, thank goodness I was flying all this time, so it should be easy to get in. After crossing the Barrier of Life and Death, I was finally able to reach the netherworld. It took me a while to find Hakugyokurou, so I eventually landed near there.
[Izuru] “I wonder if there is anyone in this place”
[???] “Who's there!?”
[Izuru] “Oh, finally” “Show yourself” “I have no intentions of harm here, I just came to visit”
[Youmu] “Aren't you Yukari's new servant?” “Lady Yuyuko must have heard something from you, I don't know.” “Oh, I almost forgot, hello!” “I am the gardener and guardian of the netherworld, Youmu Konpaku, and you?”
[Izuru] “Hello, I am a youkai in Lady Yukari's service.” “My name is Izuru Yakumo”
[Youmu] “Nice to meet you”
[Yuyuko] “Youmu, what's this fuss, isn't it unusual?”
[Youmu] “Lady Yuyuko, yes it is unusual, besides, there is a new visitor here and now!”
[Yuyuko] “Oh?” “Let's see!” “Yukari must have told you about me, I am Yuyuko Saigyouji, her best friend.”
[Youmu] “Lady Yuyuko, he is Izuru, Yukari's servant”
[Izuru] “Indeed, Miss Yuyuko” “I've been living with her for three months now”
[Yuyuko] “Are you a swordsman like Youmu, by any chance?”
[Izuru] “Unfortunately no, I never used them either.” “However, Lady Yukari suggested that I ask Youmu about it.”
[Youmu] “Oh really?” “Lady Yuyuko, would it be okay if I can teach Izuru?”
[Yuyuko] “I don't see why not, Youmu” “If you want, you can start now”
[Youmu] “I understand, Lady Yuyuko!” “Izuru, get ready!”
[Izuru] “OK!”
What a surprise I got, finally being able to learn fencing with Youmu. During all this time I always had the two swords as part of my uniform. Maybe I'll have the chance to see what their true power is.
